“Follow…”

“Follow…”

“Follow the Science, my God, follow the Science…” our first “Karen” forcefully, even dare I say, loudly demanded of my wife yesterday; smiling, happy, lovely, pretty, care free, goofy Joelle.

Now, I use the Karen label in some level of ignorance. It’s a phrase my daughter used to describe the lady. Apparently, this is a descriptive term, or name, to identify an individual like the one visiting our business yesterday. I don’t know fully from where it originates. I know it’s a negative term.

It seems like it’s just a term to describe what I might deem a “Screaming Ninny”. To me, that’s what this woman sounded like.

Living Impactfully

It was the very early 1990’s. My then wife’s mother discussed this man called Rush Limbaugh. Someone she had listened to on WOOD Radio in Grand Rapids Michigan.

Who was this man with such an odd first name?

I would find out.

Natural Bridges

The final stop on our September road trip was Natural Bridges National Monument. Ed and I spent a few days in the park doing some photography and in general just enjoying the scenery.

If you are not familiar with this area, it’s sandwiched between the Bears Ear National Monument land in Utah. It’s due south of the southern end of Canyonlands National Park.

It’s a really special area.

The “Dark Winter” Double Masker

If you follow my blogging, you have read that I have been upset by the church I attend (and most others from what I can gather) requiring their volunteers to wear masks.

My son eloquently and articulately confronted the church youth leader over this matter and opted to not serve.

In our family we believe the push for masking is nothing more than an effort to control the population on behalf of despotic leadership on the left leaning political divide.

If you have followed me some, you know that I was on the road in September. I think one of the most epic drives I have ever done was cruising on 82a across Arizona.

100 Million Dead

I have a LOT of problems with a number of things today. I’d like to ask you to think on them.

Communism, it’s founding principals, Marxism, and the “Revolutionaries” at Black Lives Matter are right at the top of my list.

Communism has killed a lot of folks

First You Lie…

My wife and son are in a state of disappointment. They have really wanted to be a part of the volunteer effort at our church, however, after some time and some discussion, they do believe the church is in violation of truth by mandating the volunteer staff wear masks.

Rob Rants From McKittrick

Hey everyone.

Something a little different this time around.

Yes, this is a video.

Yes, there’s some really pretty scenery.

AND…of course, two INCREDIBLY handsome men. ;-)

On the last afternoon in Guadalupe Mountain National Park we had some time to kill. We wanted to head over to this canyon.

We wanted to see if it will be worth coming next year to hike it. There’s an overnight camp deep in there that is to die for in the fall!

Exchanging Truth

My wife is on a mission to determine if every church in the world is requiring it’s leadership and volunteer staff to wear masks when they serve. She scouring the internet to find the “truth” about whether they are or not.

“See Rob, here, and here and here” On she goes pointing at her phone with her unusually long, beautiful finger.

“It doesn’t make it any less wrong” I respond.

“I’m just curious” she counters

“To what end? What will it prove other than they are just as much a bunch of Lemmings as everyone else” as I left the room.

Getting Closer to God

Deer Trap mountain is one of the lesser known attractions in the park. Yet, to me, it is actually the most epic view you could see.

There is a branch off the trail going to Observation Point which would allow you to get to the peak, although this way is a full 19 miles round trip.

There is also a secret way to get there from the east side of the park. I am purposely not going to tell you where this location is…cause you are gonna have to work for it.

In this video I have a few words for you.
