Spring Glory: The Cherry Blossoms of UW in Full Bloom
Last week, I visited the University of Washington’s campus to capture the cherry blossoms at their peak.
With my Nikon on the ground and drone in the air, I witnessed spring’s glory from every angle.
One photo from this series was honored as the KOMO #SoNorthwest (100k plus members) cover for April—a reminder that beauty shared can speak to many.

“My Truth”
“My Truth”.
Our society’s new way to justify it when they do not want to obey God’s way.
I’d like to pen a bit of my thinking on this and share it with you.

Wrong Directions
Explore the story of Abraham and Lot's separation in Genesis 13, where Lot's selfish choice to settle in the fertile Jordan Valley reveals key lessons about priorities, faith, and God's provision. This article examines the contrasts between Lot's self-interest and Abraham's trust in God, offering insights for making wise, selfless decisions in today's world.

You’re Not the Judge
I created some waves in a Facebook post calling attention to what seemed to be ignorance of historical data related to true Tyrannical Dictatorships.
It didn’t sit well with a number of my FB pals.
I’d like to share with you my “judgmental” thoughts here today.

Throw the Dice
Uncertainty plagues me constantly.
Yet, the Bible says it shouldn't.
God's in charge and I need to remember I have little control over it all other than how I will respond to what he puts before me.

Time Flies
Time flies.
As the fall season is upon us, we are heading toward the exact opposite place one would go if they hope to build an RV Repair, Solar Install business.
Washington State in the Winter.
Why?

Peace In Pain
Often, we find turmoil and personal pain in life. Things hit us that we seemingly do not deserve. Often times, we do not. Yet, God can and will take every one of these situations and use it to grow us, teach us, and help us.
We simply need to learn to rest in and trust HIS processes. He’s in control, regardless of how it may seem in the moment.

The Irony of Gimmicks
Gimmicks. They never work.
Yet, the American is constantly on the lookout for a way to avoid effort, or so it would seem.
Hence we are a country full of enterprises promising easy fixes to any number of our problems.
Yet, we deny the easiest fix of all!

If In Doubt
There are so many among us today in the Christian world who seem to believe they have the corner on salvation.
It seems they have assigned themselves the responsibility of being the gatekeepers here on earth governing who and who will not gain entrance to heaven when they die.
These Christians among us stress and “worry” over the salvation of others using as their primary motivation Matthew 7 where Jesus talks about the narrow gate, the bearing of fruit and the false teachers and “wolves” among us.
I want to dissect this a little bit and in the event you have encountered one of these types, or perhaps even ARE one of these types, provide some of my own personal thought and insight on the topic in an effort to provide hope and assurance to anyone who now doubts their salvation.

Persistence Pays
There is a lesson in our adventure to find the Desert 5 Spot plant during the spring wildflower blooms we experienced.
The lesson taught was about persistence. I learned a lot about persistence and I wanted to share that with you here.
