Sunrise over the Mesquite Sand Dunes in Death Valley National Park is one of my all time favorite places to do photography. The dune field is huge and is ever changing due to the wind constantly blowing across them. The sun rises over a mountain range as well as sets over another. The vast expanse set against the mountains and the long shadows created both at sunrise and sunset make for epic photography.
