This shot is special. The rains from the past fall and winter filled the Badwater Basin with water in Death Valley National park. Badwater basin as a general rule is dry. To have as much water as it did over the course of the winter is very, very rare. In my estimation, it was a once in a lifetime event. I took some time to travel down to the Badwater Basin at 2am in order to get this shot. One for the ages.
