I LOVE photographing the Milky Way and this shot over the Joshua Trees is one of my favorites. The Joshua Trees provide a very unique framing and texture in the desert. When paired with the stunning display our cameras now allow us to capture of the Milky Way, it’s never disappointing to see. The Milky Way photography sessions are always so very peaceful, even if the photographer is stabbed quite heartily by a jumping cactus. :-)
