Facing the Tower
Fear paralyzes us. Sometimes, you just have to do the thing…that makes you afraid.
From the Edge
The view from this stop was really something. However, it wasn’t the grand view that made the stop special. No, it was much smaller in scale.
A Test of My Resolve and Faith
You ever have a time where you just simply can’t get a clear answer?
My exact dilemma at this very moment in time.
Number 22!
22 proves to be a good number after all. It was the number I wore in High School basketball…and it turned out to be the number that put me on a crash course with The Wave trail in Coyote Buttes.
Arizona Any Day!
I finished up my drive through New Mexico by visiting Ship Rock. I thought it would be cool to fly the drone around the rock. It’s pretty large. I drove about an hour down a 2 track road to get to the rock. It was a miserably slow drive . About 5 mph the entire way as it was very, very rough and clearly travelled very little. FYI, the drive to the rock isn’t worth it in my opinion. There are 3 other formations along the highway on the route to Ship Rock. They are every bit as lovely and daunting and are right off the highway. If you are traveling, I would counsel against driving that 2 track out to Ship Rock.
News From Idaho
In case you are wondering, no, I am not in Idaho. I am in Arizona spending a few days with my Cousin, a long ago childhood super best friend.
I am going to work on producing a video from this stop. However, I just had to put the following into writing.
While here, the TV was on and there was a news report coming across the screen.
Lost
While in White Sands National park I met a couple who suggested I visit a place called the Bisti Badlands National Wilderness.
It’s an area in New Mexico that is truly in the “middle of nowhere”.
I decided to take them up on their suggestion.
I made the minor drive from White Sands that direction and easily found it.
