Where God Guides
Joelle and I, as you may know are taking on a new adventure and our time to hit the road looms on the horizon.
We went up to the Appalachians a few weeks back. We were up there for about 2 weeks to check out our new camper; the home we will live from while traveling.
The weather did cooperate for the first few days, but typical of the Great Smokies in the summer, it rained every day for the latter half of our time up there. We did take a hike up to the Huckleberry Bald with Watson very early one morning. While up on top, we found ourselves in the clouds and this became the backdrop for some serious drone cinematography as well as photography.
I flew both the DJI Air 2s and the DJI Avata all throughout the region to gather some great footage.
I then decided I’d put the clips to some music.
I use Artlist for all of my music. Andrew Word is by far one of my favorite artists on the platform. The song which accompanies this video is Andrew Word’s “Unfailing”

I found this to be very appropriate to the current state of my life. I’d like to share it with you today.
As we continue to shed our lives of the “stuff” we have accumulated selling it or giving it all away, we inch closer and closer to a much simpler life. Exiting the flower business, selling our home, all in the name of pursuing whatever it is God wants me to do for the cause of his son Jesus Christ. There’s a subtle peace in it.
The Lord has been so good to me. In spite of my pain, in spite of my losses, He has indeed been so very good to me. He’s never late. He’s always merciful. He brings me peace at just the right times. And now as I am choosing to really let it all go, really put my life in his hand I’ll force myself to see that there’s nothing else I really need. Just to trust him so that my life might, through it’s span, show others the way to his throne.
