An Amazing Sunset in Badlands

#landscapephotography #badlandsnationalpark #sunsetphotography #photographytips

On my second day in the park, we spent some time at the Yellow Mounds doing some late afternoon photography. It sure was a pretty spot to compose a few shots. Part of the fun ended up being the opportunity to photograph a couple of Coyotes that were hunting. I think they were hunting rabbits, although it may have been a few Prairie Dogs.

In any event, it was windy and cold as the sun began going down, but it didn’t keep me from getting a photograph of a sunset that ended up being really beautiful.

The shot that I really liked ended up being taken over Pinnacle Point, facing the west. Great shot, super opportunity.

You can see more with regard to settings and the process in the attached Youtube Video. I’d also love to have you as a subscriber at the channel, so when you get time, try and check it out. It was a shot worth waiting on.

See you in the next one.
