If you know me, you know that there are two things I really enjoy getting photos of. First, is the amazing colors and paint that the Lord uses to show me his artful hand each and every time I see an awesome sunrise or sunset.

To an even greater degree, I am generally awestruck at every point and time I have the luxury of being out in the woods and photograph the Milky Way. Standing under the stars in the utter quiet nature provides in the dark of night is something I never get tired of doing. At times, I swear, I can literally hear whispers of heaven in such moments.

Well, this was no different.

Yellowstone National Park is one of the darkest skies in the United States. It is a perfect place to set up shop and spend some serious time getting photographs of the Milky Way. For the shots in this Youtube video, I was able to not only get a few great images, but I was also able to use my Low Level LED Landscape lighting to light paint a few trees into the photo.

If you want to see the adventure and how we were able to capture not only the Milky Way shot in this post, but also the beautiful sunrise photos at Mammoth Springs, well, check out the attached video.

Remember, I would LOVE to have you as a subscriber to the channel as well as get a like or two from you all!

Questions? Comments? Leave them in the Comment Thread on Youtube. I’ll get to every one of you!

Take care of yourself. We have a lot more coming from Yellowstone in the upcoming weeks. Be sure to visit the Youtube video. I just LOVE this shot with Joelle watching the steam come up over the springs with the sun in front of her. :-)
