A Message from a Waterfall

When I took this shot, it was a moment in time. Literally.

I had 2 minutes to get it.

People everywhere complicated getting the shot because everyone wanted to be in the frame, posing in front of the falls.

The man that mentored me in the faith always said he loved being close to me because it was his hope that some of the spoiling that God does on me might rub off on him.

This shot is some of that spoiling.

Literally. I had two minutes while the sun was in the right spot to get the Starburst effect you see here.

The people reduced that 2 minutes to merely seconds in time. When you consider I had to have the lens open for 3 seconds to get the water to move in the shot...well, you see.

I had no idea what Fairy Falls was, and in no way did I hike all the way there intending to get this shot.

Yet, God moved.

People dispersed, and all things lined up just right to get the shot.

Oh, Jesus, you funny, funny savior.

I love being spoiled by God.

I lost track of this when my life really went to hell.

Nasty split with the kids mother, character maligned all over FB for a few years as a Wife Beater, personal finance bankruptcy, housing crash in FL destroyed our business, Barack Obama elected..no, wait, sorry, that wasn't part of the misery. Well, kind of.

In any event.

Your faith does not belong in these evil tyrants ruling your life nor their gremlin minions like Fauci. No, the Creator of the Universe has your back.

You'd do well to remember that.

Faith in government leaves you empty and afraid, believing they are going to save you through their edicts and their rules. It will do nothing more than oppress your freedoms, forever.

Faith in God, in Jesus Christ, emboldens you with power and confidence, for you are able to grasp the concept that should it be necessary, death for your cause will only open a door to a realm you in no way can even comprehend. Even Paul, the great one couldn't put it to words when he came back from his brief visit there when being stoned.

Take heart. The God that put this sun at the top of this falls, for this small human to photograph, is the same God that loves you and cares for you and will guide you and direct you.

So get at it.
