Panoramic Aerial Photo of Yellow Rock

This is an aerial photograph as a panorama of the Yellow Rock. The trail is in the Grand Staircase between Kanab and Page. It’s a difficult hike to navigate as the trail is obscure. The formation is gigantic. It’s a very obscure and hard to find trail head, but I will say, I was not at all disappointed when we arrived at the top of the rock. It’s not an easy hike, particularly at the beginning. We had to do some serious scrambling and scaling to get over the ridge. Once atop the initial ascent, the Yellow Rock formation was in full view. I was not expecting the view on the other side of the formation when we reached the top of the Yellow Rock. What a great opportunity to photograph!
