Sunsets and Sunrises
St Cloud Florida was the place!
So, this morning, I took the Mavic Air 2 Drone out again. Last night saw epic skies. Lot’s of matter and clouds above the horizon making for some very dramatic Sunset Photography over the St Cloud Florida Lakefront Park.
In particular, I just loved the panoramic photograph I was able to produce over the Crabby Bills restaurant as well as the Lakefront Marina.
I also shot a great Panoramic photograph over the city allowing the viewer to see not only the famous St Cloud, Small Town Living Water Tower, but also City hall…as well as the lake behind them.
This morning, I was out the door at 5 am looking at the skies. Seeing some pretty dramatic very high clouds, I knew we would be in for some more epic Sunrise photo opportunity. So…I headed out yet again and sure enough, the skies did cooperate.
Sending the Mavic Air 2 Drone up high I took a wonderful set of photos to later put together in Lightroom. I also flew out, low, over the lake in front of a major bed of reeds, truly only accessible with the drone.
Giving me a vantage point no one with a camera could have reached, I was able to shoot a series of photographs that again, later, stitched together in Lightroom to produce the panoramic photograph you see in the image below.
In the event you don’t know. I don’t shoot the panoramic photos using the auto option in the Mavic Air 2. It only shoots them in JPEG files, and as professional photographer, the final pixel compression of a JPEG makes for less data to Edit. Far better…always…to shoot in RAW, edit later, and use other tools to make the Panoramic.
