Guilt Bad

Here are a few reasons why you do not want to allow guilt to manage your thought processes and decisions.

~You tend to operate more from a fear based mindset

~You are easily manipulated

~You make choices that are often not best for you

~You will rarely be happy

~You will develop a very real, deep seated anger. An anger that you can't really put your finger on or understand

~You may put innocent people (read children) in very real danger

When you run your life in a habitual state of guilt, it makes it almost impossible to fully understand and comprehend what Jesus Christ did for you when he died on the cross and subsequently rose again, destroying sins power over your life and your destiny.

If you need help managing guilt and kicking it's ass out of your life, I recommend you first start with the book called Boundaries by Cloud and Townsend.

From there, I have many suggestions on how to work your way out of that hole, should you find yourself in it with cement boots on.
