A Scientist’s View on Masks

I was reading a quote from a revered and respected scientist recently in which he shared his opinion on the use of masks to fend off airborne virus.

I was also reading about our new president and his empathetic response to the Corona Virus.

I was so very grateful that the new president finally faced his personal fears and left his home in Delaware to do great new things for our country.

At the top of his list was signing a national mask mandate for at least 100 days.

He did this largely upon the recommendation of the scientist I reference in the title.

Oh, that’s right, let me get to that quote from this great scientist.

In a 60 minutes interview on March 8, 2020, chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon Lapook asked the god man Dr Anthony Fauci the following question.

“There’s a lot of confusion around people and misinformation surrounding face masks. Can you discuss that, Dr. Fauci?”

Dr. Fauci replied

“The masks are important for someone who’s infected to prevent them from infecting someone else. Right now in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks.”

Lapook pressed a little harder, not satisfied with the answer.

“You’re sure of it? ‘Cause people are listening really closely to this.”

Now, really pay attention to this medical giant, this genius, this god like entity revered and held high by all media in the world.

Fauci

“There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet. But it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And often there are unintended consequences. People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.”

Ah. I see.

This then must explain why, on the same day of signing an executive order mandating mask usage on ALL federal property in the United States of America, the man who signed the order, along with his family, were at the Lincoln Memorial…not wearing masks.

Nor was his press secretary when addressing the press.

Nor was Anthony Fauci at another press briefing.

I wondered about it. How could such a fearless, strong, leader like Mr. Biden and his fellow staff let down their guard and not wear a mask?

He is the leader of the free world for God’s sake! Should Corona Virus visit Mr. Biden, I fear he may not make it through. We would be devastated to lose the most popular president ever elected so shortly after taking his historic position to lead our land out of the terrible “dark winter” we are headed into.

Great, Black, Thick Dark Fear took hold of my soul. I began to sweat and have anxiety. I worried about the safety of my family. My children. My poor wife. It was an all encompassing fear. The kind of anxiety and panic I feared, no, even greater, than when I was facing a divorce, and then a bankruptcy. The shame and the horror of those times, the fear, was dwarfed by this monstrosity that was now tormenting my mind, my heart, my soul, my being. I cried out to Christ. “Oh Jesus, God of all things holy, how could this be?”

However, after some research, it’s now perfectly clear to me. I then thanked God for helping me and leading me into a new, more enlightened understanding of all things good. To have my mind cleared and opened to embrace this new and ever evolving truth.

“Relax my son.” He said. “In your limited intellect, it is difficult for you to understand and comprehend the vast power and strength of mind and education of such a strong president and his cabinet. In fact, the strongest and wisest ever. He may in fact be poised to edge out Solomon, who I regularly have expresso with in the mornings. You will never fully be able to comprehend, but for now, just trust in my wisdom and follow his leading.”

I questioned Jesus at this moment however. “Lord, I thought it’s espresso…”

He set me straight'. “Not any more, what with Newspeak and all taking hold”.

Such wise, strong, trustworthy and truthful men now lead our nation. The American citizen can now rest easy. I feel wonderfully free now.

Knowing they will be making such orders and laws to “send a message to the American people” (as Jen Psaki, the White House Press Secretary said yesterday…also mask less) that they will never have to abide by themselves gives me such a sense of calm.

PS How can anyone who knows these facts not feel like an utter fool, a complete jackass that’s being played, at the minimum, for complying with any such order, locally or federally mandated? Beats the heck out of me.
