White Sands Episode 1
Well, the first stop on my rather lengthy solo travel road trip was White Sands National Park in New Mexico.
Throughout the stay, I found it challenging to photograph due in large part to the massive amounts of wind and blowing sand.
The “sand” here isn’t really even sand at all. It’s crushed Gypsum! The same material drywall is made from.
The dust in the air kinda made it tough to get decent photographs, but with some persistence and patience, I actually did nab a couple of pretty cool shots.
