My Little Daffodil
Hey everyone. I hope all is well.
It’s been a pretty hectic few months. As my time in Graham, WA started coming to a close, I had a number of places to which I felt I must visit and spend time with my camera.
In the coming weeks, I plan to share with you all of the locations I visited before heading up to Coeur D’Alene, ID; from where I am currently writing.
I had learned of an area called Skagit Valley near Mount Vernon, WA.
In the months of March and April, this small little area begins to bustle with folks hoping to see fields of Daffodils then followed by fields of Tulips in their glory.
Prior to heading to the Olympic Coast, Joelle and I took our pal Watson and headed up to Mount Vernon to stay a few nights.
The plan was to capture the fields of Daffodils both with my DSLR and also with my Drone.
My daughter, Elise, at one time, in her tiny child years was for a short period of time referred to as my little Daffodil.
(Ultimately, however, she became affectionately known as our Pink Petunia. To this day, my favorite annual which reminds me of my favorite daughter.)
At any rate, It was a great time. I have never in my life seen such large fields of nothing but Daffodils. Joelle enjoyed it as did I.
Thankfully, the weather cooperated giving me beautiful early morning sun rises along with blue skies dotted with white puffy clouds.
All of which made for some awesome photography.
A number of the shots have landed over in the store under the category of Washington as well as Spring Flowers…should you wish to decorate your desk, walls, or homes with the beauty they offer.
This was the first stop of many in the following weeks.
I thought you’d enjoy seeing some of my favorite shots.
I am reminded of Jesus words to me in Matthew 6:28-29
“And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”
Stay tuned, there are a significant number of wonderful photography adventures I have taken across Washington that I look forward to sharing.
