Marble Canyon

Life on the edge. That’s where my van took me in this video.

From this beautiful spot, out in the middle of nowhere, I found a campsite literally at the edge of the Grand Canyon.

This is up on the north rim side and is not inside the national park. Instead, it’s part of the national forest…although…I certainly won’t call it a forest.

The entire time I was there, I was kept company by a family of hummingbirds. Even, at times, they would fly inside the van, slowly hovering around, checking everything in there out…rather meticulously. It was a very special time.

Were it not so hot at the time, I would have stayed another day or two. But there was no shade out there and it tipped 100 degrees about 1pm on my second day there.

Also, rough…really rough road heading in. Murder on the van. However, the stay out there was epic.

Doing some stretching on the shelf, hanging near the edge was relaxing and amazing. I hope you enjoy the video.
