Fall Leaves Peak In the Michigan Upper Peninsula and I was There!

Youtube, video, droning, photography, up early, up late, drive, drive, drive, drive, fly, more drive, more fly.

Coming off a 7000 mile road trip out west, I had 2 days at home. I had to then turn around and head to Michigan to help my parents with a little bit of work.

As it turned out, the Fall Leaves in Michigan, particularly in the Upper Peninsula, happened to be at Peak. What that means is that the colors would be at their absolute best, most saturated, and brightest for about 3 or 4 days.

I had been planning to head to the Great Smokey Mountain national park for a fall leaf tour, but I figured, what the heck, I’ll head up to the U.P. and spend 2 days.

The upper peninsula in Michigan actually is listed as one of the top 5 spots in the United States to photograph fall leaves and the color they bring.

I am GLAD I made the trip. My mom rode along and we visited Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp Lighthouse, the Lake Superior shoreline and various little side roads that led to desolate, isolated lakes and pond surrounded by trees in full color.

Wow.

I had a lot of time to take it in and enjoy it all.

It was very, very windy (I think it might have wrecked my drone). If so, the shots are so beautiful, it was worth it.

I hope you will consider coming over to the Youtube channel to visit and see the video.

If not, I am throwing up the images I took that I am really, really pleased with on this page.

Thanks for coming by.

I’ll see you in the next one.
