My wife and son are in a state of disappointment. They have really wanted to be a part of the volunteer effort at our church, however, after some time and some discussion, they do believe the church is in violation of truth by mandating the volunteer staff wear masks. Well, my wife is anyway. Ed is still on the fence. He’s in the camp that it’s not really a lie and even if it is, it’s one that’s okay.

Be it in violation rooted in ignorance or simply an unwillingness to embrace fact, they are in violation of the truth.

After some serious study of years worth of various CDC data reports, WHO reports, and more current reading of statistical data available about the topic, it remains my opinion and conviction that masks do not work one bit in preventing spread of airborne virus.

As stated in my previous post there are years of historical research that is completely 180 degrees out of sync with the now popular mask mandates among Democrats and Liberals. (you know…just the fact that the majority of the governmental leaders wanting to force the population to be masked are Dems and Libs should tell every church leader all they need to know…I mean come on).

Don’t think it’s about control and not about your well being? Just today, Joe “Dark Winter” Biden’s press secretary let us in on a secret. Even if every American received the vaccine for the Corona Virus, the administration still plans to require Social Distancing along with compulsory mask wearing.

At any rate, Joelle was talking to me about an email exchange she was having with a church secretary when telling her she and her son won’t be assisting.

“I understand, but we are doing this out of concern for others” is the response she received.

Really?

This feeds the entire doing it to “help everyone feel safe”.

I really want to believe that this is all okay. That the leadership in churches is in the right and is practicing truth in their mind. They are simply acting in ignorance. I suspect this may in fact not be the case.

So the concern for others is cause for us to encourage living in fear, believing in lies, and compromising core convictions?

Last I checked, one of the top 10 God mandates is “Thou shalt not bear false witness”.

Well huh. That’s weird. God says no lying. He only wrote it in stone WITH HIS FINGER!

If we believe what years of data compiled state regarding masking for protection, and further what these people now telling us otherwise said early on in all of this, masks don’t work.

I will say it again, if you compromise church, there will be no end to it.

Consider this.

The “Dark Winter” Soldier posted a tweet on the 25th January which stated the following.

“Let’s be clear: Transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time. There is no room for compromise when it comes to basic human rights.”

In this Breitbart article you will take notice that one of the first executive orders he signed into law is an order giving sweeping rights to men and women who want to live as the opposite biological sex.

This begs the question, are you going to go along with this too?

They are going to beat the living hell out of this drum. It’s going to continue harder and faster than ever now. It will become part of all culture and they will, at some point come for you and your unwillingness to march with them.

How about all those girl/boys running around in the youth now-a-days?

If you are really concerned about how everyone feels (hence your mask mandates, in spite of the truth of the matter) will you then compromise on this new standard?

The leader of the free world, Joe “Dark Winter” Biden has made it one of his top priorities to radically alter and change landscape of America related to this worldwide “civil rights” crisis plaguing our land.

When you are willing to lie, or be part of selling a lie to the people, the devil sees you.

He sees everything you do and all the compromises you make. I believe he even laughs at the excuses you try and use.

You can try and package it how you will. You can attempt to put sprinkles on white dog crap and call it cake, but it’s no less crap than it was before.

Now, it’s just white dog crap that looks funny.

Kind of like everyone wearing masks.

Particularly the filthy masks like almost everyone wears. More people than not look like they are wearing a 7 day dirty old wife beater or Joelle’s dad’s 3 week old not washed under ware on their face.

(By the way, unless you are cleaning that filthy rag on your face, every day, in water hotter than 185 degrees, it is full of bacteria and crud. You best be cleaning it better. See the WHO site for proper cleaning and sanitization.)

My larger problem with all of this is that there is rarely an end to scenarios in which someone is uncomfortable or unhappy with the way things are.

We’re I in the position to make the leadership call, I would have to wager on the side of truth.

“I don’t feel safe bringing my kid here because the leaders aren’t wearing a mask”

“Well, I’m sorry, but the truth seems to tell us the masks do not work to stop the spread of airborne virus. We always do our best to side on the truth in our church. If you want to wear one or you want to have your child to wear one, you are welcome to do so. Otherwise, we may not be the place for you."

I would have reports from the CDC printed noting the inefficiency of mask use at stopping the spread of virus. Multiple years of it. I would have the WHO documents which state the same thing. I may even have copies of Alex Berenson’s book as well. I would hand them to every concerned individual. “Read it for yourself”.

I am sorry if these parents are not comfortable. I must remind you they are uncomfortable with the fact you are not wearing a mask, and that fear or discomfort is rooted deeply in a lie that is being promoted by the news, some leadership in the country and all over Social Media.

By going along with it you are showing the evil forces that we wage war against, that we cannot see exactly where you are weak.

It’s in gaining the approval of man.

God says, no go.

“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10

It’s that last verse that really resonates in my head. I think it’s here that I find so much of this so very, very troubling.

Mark my words.

When you show this evil you are willing to compromise, you will be handed another opportunity to compromise. And another, and another, and another. It will not stop. Not only will it not stop, but the opportunities will become more and more absurd.

I speak from real life experience. There was a period of time in my own life where I made one really bad compromise after another, and buddy, they always built on the other. This went on for a number of years. Until one day, sitting on the floor in a dark room staring at the ceiling I said the very same words immortalized in the Talking Heads song Once in a Lifetime

“How Did I get Here?”

“My God! What have I done?”

I can see a day coming where you will be forced to face something as obscene as parents of a young man that wants to be a girl, upset with you, refusing to have their family attend your (our) church because you are using the words “he” or “she” or “him” or “her” or…worse yet quoting scripture that does so.

“Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.” Genesis 5:2

The NERVE of Moses to even consider writing such nonsense.

Worse yet, the utter audacity of God to use such language. Such gender based words!

What then?

I asked my son this today when were were having a “teaching moment”. He was adamant that he would have to put his foot down if they tried to force the removal of gender pronouns.

However, he’s okay with the lie. It’s a small sin in his mind. Although he admitted he would not participate if double masking (the new, new, new, new, new, new new normal) were required.

Shame on God for expecting truth.

Shame on God for requiring us to seek his approval only and shunning the approval of man, particularly when the desired approval is rooted in lies.

Is it me? Or am I losing my mind here?

I feel like I am surrounded by rubber spines everywhere.

The quote at the beginning is not really from Mother Hubbard. It’s from an old (now deceased ) woman I knew some years back. She used to say that to her kids. I think she may have said it to my kids.

I know one thing. I latched on to that sucker and made hay with it in humor.

However, it’s so very true in it’s utter simplicity and it makes my point here.

Your sin will compound as long as you keep walking the path of wrong choices.

No matter how you package it, no matter how you try and sell yourself on it, as if you are morally correct in promoting lies; It always ends the same.

First you lie, then you cheat, then you steal, then you kill.

You can try and tell yourself that some lies are necessary. I know there were times in scripture where they were necessary. In Hitler’s day “We have no idea where the Jews are, and have not seen any” while hiding them is perfectly acceptable. These are acceptable lies. They do not compare to this situation one bit.

Heck, you can even claim ignorance. That you didn’t know and were acting in good faith. I think that’s honorable.

BUT… and this is a huge BUT, once you are presented with the actual truth and the actual facts, and you STILL choose to promote the lie in this instance because you are concerned about how the other people feel (and I would be able to make a pretty damn good case you are in fact concerned about how they feel about you) you are then on the very wrong side of the fence biblically speaking.

We now have mountains of contradictions (from our health leaders) as well as undeniable facts and reports that seem to indicate masks and the use of them do no good in staving off ANY airborne virus.

“A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a flattering mouth works ruin.” Proverbs 26:28

Keep flattering ‘em, so they feel safe.

What a horrible idea.

Not my words, God’s.

I’ll side with him.

In closing, let me try and sum this up.

If you believe in masks, lest you have read what I have and learned what I have, I don’t expect you to see it any other way than you currently do, and that’s okay. Most of what you are choosing to believe however, is rooted in various lies and deceit. This is difficult for anyone paying attention to the actions of those demanding compliance to deny.

It’s not my intention here to change the individual’s mind.

It IS my intention to draw some level of scrutiny over the churches and their decision to embrace this in light of the truth of years and years of data and simply the science behind it. If you were to only limit it to the size of the virus particulate and the size of the openings in the fabric of the mask it would be a slam dunk.

I do believe they are wrong. Very wrong in promoting things the way most are choosing.

More importantly however, the greater lesson in this for all of us is this.

When you compromise your convictions to keep other people happy, you will be compromising yourself right to hell. At some point people are not going to like you because of a position you take.

How does it go? “The Road to Hell Is Paved with Good Intentions.”

It’s very important to be convinced, particularly if you profess Jesus Christ as your savior, in what you believe. Unwavering against all criticism in your conviction to him.

There will come a day, there will come a time when you will have to make a choice to stand with him or go with the crowd. Heck, there will come a LOT of days.

This mask nonsense, to me, is a small test of this very fact. It’s actually inconsequential to me. I just won’t help them. Neither will any of my family. I am upset the lie of it is promoted by an entity of what should be truth. Nevertheless, it’s really not any of my concern.

I can actually hear minds now. “Well, you arrogant ass, you have your truth, and I have my truth”.

Yeah, I guess. Like you have your way to heaven and I have mine.

Heard that one yet? “There are many ways to heaven”.

For now, this is a lie the church leadership and I agree on.

I am beginning to wonder however…if enough pressure is brought to bear…over time…

I digress.

Larger tests will follow, should you choose to take a stand. This is life with Jesus.

Pass one test, a harder will follow.

Always look to him for the strength you need when the time comes you are facing down another of the enemies schemes.

Fitting in isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
